iPhone SE 2020 Charging Port Repair

If your iPhone SE 2020 has stopped charging reliably, it's usually the port — not the phone. Ports fill with pocket lint and the contacts wear out. It's a cheap, common repair.

Signs it's the charging port

• the cable only charges at a certain angle
• it charges from a plug but won't connect to a computer
• charging stopped completely after a knock or a fall
• the cable falls out on its own
• charging is much slower than it used to be

Try this first — it might cost you nothing

Before you pay anyone: turn the phone off and look into the port with a bright light. If you can see grey fluff packed at the bottom, that's the usual culprit. A wooden toothpick, gently, often brings out a surprising amount and fixes it outright.

If it's clean and still won't charge, or only charges at an angle, the port itself has worn and needs replacing. Bring it in and we'll check it free.
